Yahweh's Passover & Feast of Unleavened Bread
"And unto his son will I give one tribe, that [King] David my servant may have a light alway before me in
Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there" (KJV, 1Ki 11:36, 2 Chr 6:6).
Yah has chosen Jerusalem as the place where his name shall be for ever (KJV, 2Ki 21:4, 21:7, 23:27; 2Chr 33:4, 33:7; Ezr 6:12).
In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is YAHWEH's passover (KJV, Lev 23:5; Num 28:16). And YAHWEH spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you (KJV, Exo 12:1-2). Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto YAHWEH, thy Elohim: for in the month of Abib YAHWEH thy Elohim brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto YAHWEH thy Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YAHWEH shall choose to place his name there....for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste; that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life....Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which YAHWEH thy Elohim giveth thee: But at the place which YAHWEH thy Elohim shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even[ing], at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt (KJV, Deu 16:1-6).
And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand YAHWEH brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten. This day came ye out in the month of the Abib...Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which YAHWEH did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt. And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that YAHWEH's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath YAHWEH brought thee out of Egypt. Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year (KJV, Exo 13:3-10).
Start Eating Unleavened Bread - Evening of Wed, 12Apr2017 (Day 14)
Feast of Unleavened Bread - Thurs, 13Apr2017 (Day 15) through Evening of Wed, 19Apr2017 (Day 21)
Although we cannot keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread outside the land of Jerusalem, we are commanded by YAHWEH to remove leaven from within all our gates/quarters/habitations and not to let it be seen with us for seven days from the 15th day of the first moon/month through the 21st day of the first moon/month of the year. In addition, we are commanded to eat unleavened bread daily from the evening of the 14th day through the evening of the 21st day of the first moon/month of the year. See supporting scripture reference below.
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto YAHWEH: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation [in Jerusalem]: ye shall do no servile work therein. But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHWEH seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation [in Jerusalem]: ye shall do no servile work therein (KJV, Lev 23:6-8; Num 28:17-25). And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to YAHWEH throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from YisraEl. And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation [in Jerusalem], and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation [in Jerusalem] to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever: In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of YisraEl, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread (KJV, Exo 12:14-20).
