For me, the HOY of Atlanta is the institution of higher learning. I am a product of academia. I have a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in education, and I am a PhD (ABD). In all the years that I have invested in my education, I never learned about my true culture until I started coming to the HOY. I started learning under the tutelage of Mowreh Elesha Ben YisraEl in 2006, and now I have been studying under Mowreh Elqanah Ben YisraEl since June 2012. Mowreh Elqanah and his wife and soul mate Yahnyce are the most consistent Hebrew Yisraelites one could ever meet. There is warmth and genuine love at our small sanctuary. Mowreh Elqanah teaches the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth of what thus saith YAH. I am blessed to be a part of such an exquisite, praise YAHWEH group. HalleluYAH!!!

Elder Sister DeBorah HadiYah

I truly believe that there are no coincidences…everything happens for a reason. I learned about The Most High and the true identity of the Hebrew Israelites in 2005. I spent almost ten (10) years on my own… doing the research, looking for more truth and trying to connect the dots. Then, I found the House of Yisrael of Atlanta in 2014. During my first visit, Mowreh Elqanah Ben Yisrael, the elders and other members of the congregation welcomed me and my family with open arms. At the House of Yisrael of Atlanta, we not only learn about the laws, statues and commandments but we also talk about how to keep them CORRECTLY. I can honestly say that I learned more within one (1) year than I did in almost a decade! So, if you are reading this, please realize that it’s not a coincidence – if you’re searching for more knowledge and you’re ready to grow, then the House of Yisrael of Atlanta is the only place for you.

I walked in the HOY of Atlanta not knowing what to expect. My husband had been going and I wanted to see what he was into. Mowreh Elqanah was talking and reading from the bible...For some reason, his words were piercing to my soul. You see, I always have believed in the Father but I was not really raised that way. My grandfather was a pastor, so I guess my earth father just had too much of "church" growing up himself, that he decided not to raise us up that way. But since coming to the HOY of Atlanta, I have learned about who I am, and where I come from and that has, and still is, changing my life. And when I heard Sister Yahnyce and the choir sing, that brought tears to my eyes. You see, I didn't have this TRUTH until I came to the HOY of Atlanta. I am so thankful.

NetanYah

Mowreh Elqanah and Sister Yahnyce are TRUE horn blowers of YAH's word.

Elder Sister Rebekah

I've not looked back since stepping into the HOY. I've learned so much and the family here is truly family.

Talora

The HOY of Atlanta is AWESOME.. Mowreh Elqanah is the best and I never wanna stop going there.

Sire (aka Melek)

I attended the HOY after the death of my brother in Atlanta. It was my intention to attend the masjid there; still hanging on to Islam. I would go to Jumah prayer on FRI day and then go with my sister to HOY on Sabbath Day.

I had been praying for the truth about who I am and who the Creator is. It was really phenomenal how the chain of events occurred in my life. I know YAHWEH is the director of my life, HalleluYAH. I heard Mowreh Elqanah teach, and now I have been home for over 3 years now. Praise the Mighty YAHWEH. HE is our Elohim, our judge, king, Saviour and HIS mercy endureth forever.

Elder Sister Noomiy

I give praise to YAH for allowing me to see and understand his words so clear now. I’ve read before how a man shouldn’t cut his hair or his beard (Leviticus 19: 27 & 21:5). I guess I took it lightly because of the so called Christian way that you're saved by grace. It wasn’t until YAH led me to the House of YisraEL of Atlanta that I started to learn about the importance of following YAH’s laws, statues and commandments which include not shaving your beard or cutting your hair. I am a police officer and at my job they don’t allow us to have any facial hair. Even with my shaving profile (waiver) I could only have stubbles. They even tried to fire a brother for wearing his full beard. It started to become more and more difficult for me to shave every morning before I went to work because I knew I wasn’t doing what our creator YAH, commanded me to do. I went from shaving every day to once or twice a week.  I remember what my Elder Brother Mordacai and Mowreh Elqanah told me, “ YAH knows your heart and if he sees you wanting and willing to follow his laws, he will take care of you”.

It wasn’t until the Sabbath of 06Feb2016 when my fiancé and I were watching the Sabbath broadcast from our living room that it hit me. Mowreh was teaching on the laws again and how we shall keep everyone of them including not shaving our heads or beards. When the Sabbath day broadcast ended I looked at my fiancé and told her I couldn’t do it anymore; I was done with shaving my head and beard and I asked her opinion on me getting a letter from Mowreh. She said it didn't matter about her opinion because she was behind me anyway and what matters is YAH’s word. I thought to myself that she’s right. I called Mowreh and ask if he could write me a letter to take to my job so that I could present it to my supervisors and he said of course he would gladly write me one. I told Mowreh that in this land (of captivity) they claim they don’t discriminate against religion or spiritual beliefs and they make accommodations for everything else so I’m ready for whatever they throw at me because there are no laws greater than YAHWEH’s laws.

I came into work on that 1st Day (i.e., MON day) with more facial hair than I ever had at this job and no one said anything until my sergeant pulled me into a room and said that the Major said just to cover all angles, I needed to get an updated shaving profile (waiver) because they actually changed our rules. If you have a shaving profile, you can wear a beard and you won’t get in trouble for it. My sergeant ask me if I knew that the rules had changed, and I said I didn’t. He handed me a printout of the new rules and all I could do was laugh and say Praise YAH!! YAH made a way for me and all I had to do was take that step toward him and he did the rest. It’s now going on three weeks and my face is full of hair and I wear my beard proudly. I dare someone to say anything about it to me because I know YAH is with me and whatever they try, YAH has my back and I know YAH will prevail.

PRAISE YAH!!!!!

Once upon a time, I felt like I wanted to know who I was; I wanted to know my true ancestry and I wanted to get to know the true Elohim. So, I started looking for a place of worship that I could go to where I could actually learn about THE TRUTH. When I walked into the House of Yisrael of Atlanta and heard Mowreh Elqanah teach, I knew the truth was finally being revealed to me. I respect Mowreh Elqanah so much for presenting nothing but THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH, no matter who it may or may not offend. Praise YAH!

Shalom! All praise and thanks to the mighty Yahweh our Elohim!! Since becoming a member of the House of YisraEL of Atlanta, I have witnessed how following the laws and commandments of Yahweh can impact your life. My fiancé has had difficulty with his employer about shaving his beard. He has made the commitment to go against his employers laws and to follow YAH's Laws. He has had no reprimands from his employer and now has his beard and looks like a mighty king! I'm loving it! Recently I've also made efforts to share with my mother, the TRUTH, who we are as a NATION, and the importance of following the Laws of Yahweh. Many times I fell onto a deaf ear. She was uninterested, walked away from the conversation and questioned the truth. She still believes in J.C. [i.e., the Christ of the New Testament], the whole christmas thing and in going to church on SUN day. I have sent her text messages with scriptures to read that will show her what she is participating in, is against Yahweh's laws. For the most part, there is no response back. It's been a challenge to speak with my mother for at least 10 minutes about YAH. I have been praying and asking YAH to allow my mother to just listen one day. Then, my prayers were heard and one day I was allowed to speak with my mother over the phone and tell her about our mighty Elohim, Yahweh, for almost 2 hours. This time she listened, did not rush me off the phone, was very attentive and I could hear in her voice that she genuinely cared to hear what I had to say. For all of these great things that are occurring in my life, all that I can do is say "HALLELUYAH!"

Ashley

I was raised as a Sabbath Day keeper in a church that my father had to persuade my mother into letting me attend. I learned about our forefathers of Israel and how not to follow the ways of the heathens (aka other nations). I am really grateful to Abba YAHWEH for eventually leading me to the House of Yisrael of Atlanta where Mowreh Elqanah teaches nothing but the truth, straight from scripture. My main goal in this life is to get to know the Creator and become an ambassador of peace. I also want to some day write a book on scientific and spiritual facts. I know that by attending the House of Yisrael of Atlanta, I am just that much closer to realizing my goals. PRAISE THE MIGHTY YAHWEH!!

NabiYah

I love the House of Yisrael of Atlanta; it's a family. I learn alot from Mowreh. Initially, it took a while because I was kind of fighting it a little bit. I started off Messianic and it took some time for me to learn that it was YAHWEH and nobody else. I started learning and studying under the teachings of Mowreh Elesha (House of YisraEl in Ohio), and then I learned that Mowreh Elqanah was in Atlanta. I went to a couple other classes, but then I met Mowreh Elqanah in Atlanta and I have been here every since. House of YisraEl of Atlanta is a family that I love, and I praise YAH for it. I am thankful to Mowreh Elqanah for everything that he has shown me and has taught me, and all praise and glory goes to YAH. HalleluYAH!!

Azariyah

I was in a 7 Day church observing Sabbath Day before coming to the House of Yisrael of Atlanta. One night I was channel searching and I came across Mowreh Elqanah teaching a class about YAH. I contacted Mowreh to find out where he was located. Since being a part of the House of Yisrael of Atlanta and under the tutelage of Mowreh Elqanah, I have learned about my history, and how special I am to YAH. I am so grateful to YAHWEH for leading me to the House of Yisrael of Atlanta. There is no other house that teaches the whole truth about the Hebrew Israelite culture and our way of life. This teaching has taught me how to live a more righteous life. In every class, I learn more about what YAH requires of me as one of his servants. I praise YAH for Mowreh Elqanah and Sister Yahnyce for their faithfulness in teaching the Holy Scriptures of YAHWEH. I now put YAH first in everything that I do. Blessed by the best! HALLELUYAH!!!

The HOY of Atlanta - Wow!

Praising YAHWEH is the way to go. The elohims or dieties of other nations are not real. We are the Hebrew Israelites here at the HOY of Atlanta. We are the TRUTH and the LIGHT. I used to run the streets and this TRUTH has helped me get my life back on track. This TRUTH helps you get your mind right. It teaches us about our history, our lineage, and let's us know that we are ALL royalty here. By studying this TRUTH, you learn how to be a man and a woman the virtuous and the righteous way.

Praise YAH!

Isaiah

The House of YisraEl of Atlanta has been the biggest blessing in my life. Every since I was a senior in college something took a hold of my mind and my heart telling me that the church wasn't it, and I already knew it because nothing was adding up; I just couldn't support it any longer. The best thing that happened is that they put me out of church because I was Catholic, and I wouldn't undergo conformation to confirm I wanted to be a Christian and a Catholic for the rest of my life. I began seeking, and I didn't even know what I was seeking, but I started wrapping my head up. I began to stay away from the people I used to hang around.  Something led me to Mowreh Elqanah's broadcast, Disciples of Yah. I started calling Mowreh for about a year, and each time I called, everything was consistent; he never changed. I thought one day, I am going to get the nerve to go see him. Finally I did in the JAN month of 2008, and it was love every since. I have been going strong and learning more and more every since then. I owe my life to this truth and I wouldn't trade it for anything; not for family, not for ANYTHING!

Ya'el

I feel that the HOY of Atlanta has done a lot for me in my life. I think I have grown a lot over the years from being a part of this family because I used to be a "hothead", and I am not a "hothead"anymore. If you come to the HOY of Atlanta you will learn a lot of things. You will see a difference in your life. You will see how YAHWEH will guide you in the right path. We all work together here. If you are down, they will help you. If you need someone to talk to, they will listen. Come to the HOY of Atlanta and get some learning. Come learn about YAHWEH!!

Brianna

If it wasn't for my wife, I wouldn't even be here; She led me to this truth.  As a kid I never did really believe in the Christ of the New Testament; something about it just didn't feel right, it didn't feel good. I was looking for truth in other places, but once my wife brought me to the HOY of Atlanta and I heard what Mowreh Elqanah was teaching, I knew he was speaking the truth about our black people, the Hebrews. I felt really good about what the brother was saying; he was pointing out the contradictions between the New and the Old Testament, and logically it made a lot of sense. We are the chosen ones and what we're doing is the right thing. Praise YAH!

Elder Brother Frankie

The HOY of Atlanta is the TRUTH, and nothing but the TRUTH. I have been here for 7 years. Mowreh Elqanah is going to tell us "what thus saith YAH", whether you like it or not. It is the best place to go and get the TRUTH that you just will not find anywhere else. Everbody in the world wants this TRUTH, and the HOY of Atlanta is where it's at. Praise The Mighty Yah!!

Yeqezquel

At the HOY of Atlanta the Sabbath class is a great class. You get taught about the New Testament and how it's not right. You learn that no matter the religion, YAH is the ONLY way. I strongly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn about their Hebrew Israelite culture. I came into this TRUTH when I was 7 or 8 years old and now I am 14 and I know I am a Hebrew Israelite. Praise YAH!!

Miriyahm

I have been coming to the House of Yisrael of Atlanta for quite a number of years. When my husband and I first started coming here I was so excited. I told my husband that this is where it's at...This man [i.e., Mowreh Elqanah] is speaking the TRUTH. I finally pulled the rest of my family in. This is "earthshaking" stuff. My kids were totally receptive. There are just not enough good things that I can say about the HOY of Atlanta, Mowreh Elqanah, his wife Sister Yahnyce and everybody at the sanctuary. These are good, wonderful people who welcome you with open hearts and open minds. I love it. Praise YAH!

Lois

The HOY of Atlanta has been an extremely great lesson for me. I have to give honor and praise to The Most High YAH for leading me on YouTube to such a wonderful teacher as is Mowreh Elqanah and his beautiful wife Yahnyce. By me listening to Mowreh Elqanah's lessons on YouTube, I decided to take a leap of faith and visit the sanctuary one day. I am so grateful to YAH for providing someone who is willing to teach the absolute truth and nothing but the truth of YAH. Being a part of the Hebrew community at the HOY of Atlanta is truly a life changing experience. YAHWEH is good and his mercy endures FOREVER. HALLELUYAH!!!

Elder Sister Tehillah

This is the place to go for me; it made me aware of who I am and who YisraEl is to Elohim. I was never into the New Testatment Christ; I just couldn't get with that. Thank the Almighty YAH because his spirit brought me here. It all started one day when I was coming back from pain management and I had some serious problems. But from that day until now, this truth has been "sun" in my life. And that's saying something with me being the age that I am, and this happened 8 years ago. I have been here every since, so that's how much this means to me. Mowreh Elqanah teaches something that my spirit can relate to. Now we don't know a person's heart or their walk, but as far as a teacher, I don't think they get any better Mowreh Elqanah.

Elder Brother Yoseph

I feel real good about the HOY - It has changed my life; it has woke me up to see the real truth of who I am. I always wondered what was going on with me and with my people. But praise the Almighty we have a book that he had here from the foundation of the world; all we gotta do is open it up and look at it. So, I give all praise to The Most High for the HOY and the prophet Mowreh Elqanah. It's just a blessing to be here and if you not here, please try to get here.

Habaqqah

First giving all praise and honor to The Most High by saying HalleluYAH - We must acknowledge him in all our ways and doings. For the past 11 years, since coming out of Christianity, there are no words that I can say to express or compare that is the goodness and the mercy of YAHWEH and how this truth has changed and impacted me and my queen's life. There is no other place, beyond the HOY of Atlanta, that I would rather go to get the highest of esteemed learning about YAHWEH's laws, testimonies, precepts, his ways and how we should live. There is nothing else that can describe this feeling that I have right now as I provide this testimony....Come and join us here at HOY of Atlanta so we can be a family and can one day cross that line to be in the remnant, forever and ever, praising our KING. HalleluYAH!!

Elder Brother Mordacai

Shalom my fellow Hebrew Yisraelites!

My being a member of the House of Yisrael /Atl was in part facilitated by my dear friend Rib’Qah Ysra’El – We were first connected when she lived in Houston and we attended the same mega church. Through a mutual associate I got her number after her move and reconnected.  One of my first questions during our conversation was “Do you know anything about the Hebrew Yisraelites? Someone has asked me about them?” Although I knew a couple of them here in Texas who professed to know YHWH, I was not receiving any information from them. SO glad they didn’t share...  They were followers of Yahweh ben Yahweh… Need I say more?  Rib’Qah shared the number for Mowreh Elesha’s broadcast and archived lectures which I listened to daily. You know how it is! All those myths being replaced with the Truths of Yah! You cannot get enough.

She shared her story with me, which led to the introduction of Mowreh Elqanah and Sister Yahnyce.  Well.. it was on from there! Praise Yahweh, Halleluyah! I was already listening to Mowreh Elesha on Shabbat morning, so when Mowreh enlightened me concerning Mowreh Elesha being his teacher, I knew I was under the right guidance. I asked Mowreh if he would pray concerning a name for me from YHWH.  I wanted to shed ALL associated with the slave master that I could. Mowreh knew nothing about my previous disciplines when he prayed for me.   Ironically I have been in the health industry for the majority of my working career…. Shiphrah was the name that was given for me. A very comfortable fit. My name is referenced in Exodus 1:15.

I was able to legally have my name changed when I returned to Texas after my first visit to the sanctuary for the observation of the Feast of Trumpets and for The Day of Atonement earlier this year. It was amazing how Yah allowed it to happen. I went for the paperwork one day, spoke with the Judge the same day, filed the paperwork that day in the district clerk’s office and was placed on the uncontested docket for the next day. The next morning it was a completed process. All Praises to the Mighty Yah!

Because I live on the southeast coast of Texas, every teaching, every broadcast is Platinum to me. I live through these airings, as I am sure my other Sisters and Brothers in my same situation also do. I am very grateful for the effort given by those who make sure we can see and hear clearly. Todah!! When the congregation stands, kneels, pray, reads scripture, I do that here in Texas.  Praise Yah!!  On my visit in the 9th moon I was able to accompany our Sanctuary to the HOY in Cincinnati, where Mowreh Aaron is the spiritual teacher. It was wonderful to be in Cincinnati and then return to the Sanctuary for the Day of Atonement. I almost could not contain myself; it was such a joy to be in total obedience by being in attendance and a blessing to be with all my Sisters and Brothers in person.

My testimony is simple. I cried out to Yahweh. My plea was “If, with ALL my doings, I was NOT doing His Will and what was pleasing in His sight; to SHOW me please. And YHWH answered his handmaiden.

Praise the Mighty Yahweh! He is Greatly to be Praised!

Elder Shiphrah Bath Tziyown Yisra’El

I knew since I was a little girl that something wasn't right in the baptist church. My questions could never be answered to my satisfaction, but as a child I had no say in the matter; I just had to do as I was told and march off to church like everyone else. As a teenager, I started studying to become a J. Witness...Well, that didn't last long and it was the same old story. As an adult, I started going back to the baptist church but I still just wasn't getting what I wanted out of the experience. So, I started thinking that I needed to go back to the beginning and start learning from there. Well, where was the beginning? It was in Genesis of course. In reading about Adam & Eve, the Garden of Eden and the Exodus, I started to realize that these stories and events all took place in lands where there was, and always has been, black people. So, why did I see images of a Pharoah and others from biblical times in movies and books who were not black? Why were we going to church on the first day of the week instead of on the 7th day of the week, like it says in the holy scriptures (i.e., Genesis through Malachi). This just didn't make any sense. So, I did a little research and started going to a Messianic Jewish congregation. Well, again, they couldn't answer all the questions I had to my satisfaction. They had a >75% black congregation but it was led by Jewish converts whose ancestral nativity was Khazaria in Russia and the Caucasus mountain region. They had the whole black congregation deceived into believing that they were the Gentiles, while the convert Jews were supposedly the true Israelites. Finally, I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to find someplace where they, at the bare minimum, recognized and acknowledged the true "blackness" of the bible. The very Sabbath Day that I walked into the HOY of Atlanta, was the day that I woke up and my life changed. I remember it like it was yesterday....I arrived a little early while the choir was practicing. I had never heard "black" hebrew music before and it was off-the-chain....I loved it. Next Sister Yahnyce, Mowreh Elqanah, and others greeted me with such love and warmth that I was flabergasted. Then Mowreh Elqanah started teaching...Oh my goodness....I could not believe it....I finally found what I was searching for all this time....I am not only learning about biblical history, but I am learning about MY history, MY culture, MY heritage, MY purpose in life, and what I need to do to secure MY salvation. I know now that I am a Hebrew Yisraelite, the chosen of YAH. Other nations know, but us black people are just now really learning about our history, which contrary to the history books in school, did not start with slavery in the 1600s. If you are a so-called "African-American" descendant of a slave, want to know who you truly are and want to know why we are so persecuted here in the USA (or should I say modern day Babylon), come check us out at the HOY of Atlanta. You will get all your answers here. You can trust and believe that YAH is the Holy One of Yisrael, your ONLY Saviour, Redeemer, and hope for everlasting life. We hope to see you soon!!
