 Give thanks unto YAHWEH, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
  Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek YAHWEH.
  Seek YAHWEH and his strength, seek his face continually.
  Remember his marvellous works that he hath done,

his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
O ye seed of YisraEl his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
He is YAHWEH our Elohim; his judgments are in all the earth.
  Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
  Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
  And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to YisraEl for an everlasting covenant,
  Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
  When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
  And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
  He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
  Sing unto YAHWEH, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
  Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
  For great is YAHWEH, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all dieties
  For all the dieties of the people are idols: but YAHWEH made the heavens.
  Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
  Give unto YAHWEH , ye kindreds of the people, give unto YAHWEH glory and strength.
Give unto YAHWEH the glory due unto his name:

bring an offering, and come before him:

worship YAHWEH in the beauty of holiness.
  Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice:

and let men say among the nations, YAHWEH reigneth.
  Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
  Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of YAHWEH, because he cometh to judge the earth.
  O give thanks unto YAHWEH; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
  And say ye, Save us, O Elohim of our salvation, and gather us together,

and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
  Blessed be YAHWEH Elohim of YisraEl for ever and ever.

And all the people said, Amen, and praised YAHWEH

(1 Chronicles 16:8-36)

  At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.
Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.
  He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.
  After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency;

and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.
  Elohim thundereth marvellously with his voice;

great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
  For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth;

likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
  He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.
  Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.
  Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.
  By the breath of Elohim frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
  Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
  And it is turned round about by his counsels:

that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
  Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of Elohim.
  Dost thou know when Elohim disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
  Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds,

the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
  How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
  Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
  Teach us what we shall say unto him;

for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
  Shall it be told him that I speak?

if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
  And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds:

but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
  Fair weather cometh out of the north: with Elohim is terrible majesty.
  Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:

he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart

(Job 37:1-24)

O give thanks unto YAHWEH; call upon his name:

make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek YAHWEH.

Seek YAHWEH, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done;

his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

He is YAHWEH our Elohim: his judgments are in all the earth.

He hath remembered his covenant for ever,

the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
  And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to YisraEl for an everlasting covenant:
  Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
  When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
  He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
  Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
  Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
  He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
  Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Until the time that his word came: the word of YAHWEH tried him.
  The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
  He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
  To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
  YisraEl also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
  And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
  He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
  He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
  They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
  He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
  He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
  Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
  He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
  He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
  He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
  And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
  He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
  He brought them forth also with silver and gold:

and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
  Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
  He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
  The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
  He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out;

they ran in the dry places like a river.
  For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
  And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
And gave them the lands of the heathen:

and they inherited the labour of the people;
  That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws.

Praise ye YAHWEH

(Psalm 105)

Praise ye YAHWEH. O give thanks unto YAHWEH;

for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who can utter the mighty acts of YAHWEH?

who can shew forth all his praise?
Blessed are they that keep judgment,

and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
  Remember me, O YAHWEH, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people:

O visit me with thy salvation;
That I may see the good of thy chosen,

that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation,

that I may glory with thine inheritance.
We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity,

we have done wickedly.
  Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt;

they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies;

but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
  Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake,

that he might make his mighty power to be known.
  He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up:

so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them,

and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
  And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
  Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
  They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
  But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted Elohim in the desert.
And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
  They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of YAHWEH.
  The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
  And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
  They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
  Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
  They forgat Elohim their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
  Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
  Therefore he said that he would destroy them,

had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath,

lest he should destroy them. Yea, they despised the pleasant land,

they believed not his word: But murmured in their tents,

and hearkened not unto the voice of YAHWEH.
  Therefore he lifted up his hand against them,

to overthrow them in the wilderness:
  To overthrow their seed also among the nations,

and to scatter them in the lands.
  They joined themselves also unto false dieties,

and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
  Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions:

and the plague brake in upon them.
Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
  And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
  Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
  They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom YAHWEH commanded them:
  But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
  And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
  Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters,

whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
  Thus were they defiled with their own works,

and went a whoring with their own inventions.
  Therefore was the wrath of YAHWEH kindled against his people,

insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
  And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
  Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
  Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel,

and were brought low for their iniquity.
  Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
  And he remembered for them his covenant,

and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
  He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
  Save us, O YAHWEH our Elohim, and gather us from among the heathen,

to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
Blessed be YAHWEH Elohim of YisraEl from everlasting to everlasting:

and let all the people say, Amen.

Praise ye YAHWEH

(Psalm 106)

 I will extol thee, my Elohim, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Great is YAHWEH, and greatly to be praised;

and his greatness is unsearchable.
  One generation shall praise thy works to another,

and shall declare thy mighty acts.
  I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
  And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts:

and I will declare thy greatness.
  They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness,

and shall sing of thy righteousness.
  YAHWEH is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
  YAHWEH is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
  All thy works shall praise thee, O YAHWEH; and thy saints shall bless thee.
  They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
  Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
YAHWEH upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.
  The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
  Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
  YAHWEH is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
  YAHWEH is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
  YAHWEH preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
  My mouth shall speak the praise of YAHWEH: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever

(Psalm 145)

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:

let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of YAHWEH cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness,

as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong;

there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
  A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth:

the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;

yea, and nothing shall escape them.
  The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses;

and as horsemen, so shall they run.
  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,

like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
  Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war;

and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
  Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path:

and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
  They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses;

they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble:

the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
  And YAHWEH shall utter his voice before his army:

for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word:

for the day of YAHWEH is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
  Therefore also now, saith YAHWEH, turn ye even to me with all your heart,

and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto YAHWEH your Elohim:

for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
  Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him;

even a meat offering and a drink offering unto YAHWEH your Elohim?
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders,

gather the children, and those that suck the breasts:

let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
  Let the priests, the ministers of YAHWEH, weep between the porch and the altar,

and let them say, Spare thy people, O YAHWEH, and give not thine heritage to reproach,

that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people,

Where is their Elohim?
  Then will YAHWEH be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
  Yea, YAHWEH will answer and say unto his people,

Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith:

and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
But I will remove far off from you the northern army,

and will drive him into a land barren and desolate,

with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea,

and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
  Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice:

for YAHWEH will do great things.
  Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring,

for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in YAHWEH your Elohim:

for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain,

the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
  And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten,

the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
  And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of YAHWEH your Elohim,

that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
  And ye shall know that I am in the midst of YisraEl, and that I am YAHWEH your Elohim,

and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams,

your young men shall see visions:
  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,

before the great and the terrible day of YAHWEH come.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHWEH shall be delivered:

for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,

as YAHWEH hath said, and in the remnant whom YAHWEH shall call

(Joel 2)
